we tripped up to Tucson today to visit the Reid Park Zoo up there... this was taken in the Aviary :)

February 16th - Easily Entertained

Glow sticks - you can find em at any Dollar Tree and they'll keep your kids entertained for several hours...

February 14th - Company

We had some friends over for a game of Rummoli (all you Canadians should know what that is, hehe). We play with nickels nowadays instead of pennies. Last time they took just about all of our nickels ~ this time I managed to keep my own nickels, win back the nickels Nick lost and was still up by 4 nickels between the two of us, LOL! After Rummoli, we played a horse racing game (all you Canadians should know what that is too, LOL), and then moved on to this brand new board game that they brought with them called Zombies. That was interesting (and we weren't losing any money, ROFL). The gray and green guys are zombies, and then the colored guys are us. I'm the green guy :) You add pieces to the board, kill zombies, collect life and bullet tiles (hopefully), and wait for the helipad board piece to come up. Object of the game is to either kill and collect 25 zombies or be the first to get to the helipad.
I, of course, being the battle-chicken, LOL!, was waiting for the helipad board piece to come up, and when it did, i won, LMAO!


While we played all that, he kids ran all over the house having a ball between the bedrooms and the Wii and movies. This is Nicky sitting with cayute little Hayleigh (I'm pretty sure I spelled her name wrong... but she's still cayute - and he thinks so too, LOL)

February 12th - Valentine Party Prep!

The kids have Vday Parties at school tomorrow, so they got home from school and scattered their cards everywhere to work on them....

meanwhile, Nicky NEATLY stacked his cards and began working on them in an orderly fashion - boy after my own heart, LOL!

January 31st - Funkey Love & The Mauling of the Cat

First up - Funkey Love. Taking turns playing the U.B.Funkeys on Dad's computer (yep, that's a timer sittin there too! I make em use it so there's no fighting over who's turn it is and for how long!)

January 26th - Nightmare in my Living Room

this table is my constant nightmare. it's the kids "coloring table" and sits in our living room. it's just a folding table, with metal folding chairs. the kids pile their crap on it constantly.

helloooo? there's a plastic bucket sitting RIGHT THERE to NEATLY store all your crap in!

January 16th - Friday Night Fun

this is usually how our friday nights go... nick relunctantly gives up the tv so the kids can take turns on the wii (after going thru withdrawal all week coz of school, lol) while playing with the kinex. the picture totally sucks coz a) it's dark outside, my camera does better in daylight, and 2) coz the kids are all QUITE animated, lol.
oh wow. even the cat got in on the shot, lol! i didn't realize he was in Nick's recliner ~ i thought he was layin on the bed with Nick... hehe. that's his second favorite place to be during the day.

January 11th - The Great Outdoors

it was nice today so i threw the spawn outside for a while!

January 1st - Wii Would Like to Play

i completely forgot to take a picture ~ but i did take a video! I rented Raving Rabbids World TV Party for the kids this past week and DH got in on the action :) Very kewl game (and the kids love it too, lol!)
