May 24th - I'm a Sucker

After an all-day discussion on whether or not the kids were to be allowed on the trampoline without anchor-age, I caved. Nick was on it at like 8 this morning, "testing it", lmbo!
We're still getting anchor-age for it tho coz the first monsoon that comes thru here is going to blow the thing into this window like it was a ragdoll in a tornado, and of course, while the spawn are on it, i'll be keeping a watchful eye thru the window (chanting "we have tricare, we have tricare, we have tricare").
i was even talked into getting on it (there's video on my facebook, lmbo!!)

May 21st - I love the fact that he can read... BUT

the least he could do is read something a little less "creepy" to me.
*shudder*

great. another noise maker. whoo hoo.
why is it they behave at school, and then pick out the noisiest thing they can possibly find from the treasure box?
at least i know he's being good at school... lol!

nicky, for whatever reason, is still hanging on to the paper shoes they gave him at the hospital (that he never did wear coz they're too big! lol!)

March 18th - Two Dorks and A Weenie... or two

We had sausage dogs for lunch before I turned them loose in the yard...

March 15th - Cat Box Duty

I was at the grocery store when I got a pic message from Nick... of Nicky pulling cat box duty (which is supposed to be one of Caroline's chores - she was at the neighbor's house playin'). Appalled, I texted him back saying he was WRONG for makin that little boy clean the box! When I got home Nicky said he had wanted to do it. Why, I'll never know. I don't even wanna do it, lol!
He's gettin bored tho. He can't play outside with the rest of them & the neighbor kids til the "magic stitches" dissolve (see Friday's post where he was traumatized... had to tell him they were magic and wouldn't be there forever!), so he's looking for things to do.... I rented 4 Wii games on Friday and he's tired of playing them already.

March 13th - Special Treatment

Nicky was fairly traumatized today... we took the gauze off of "it" (after a really good McD's breakfast!) and he said that "it" looked "really scary". Taking the gauze off was bad enough, but seeing the stitches... OY. So I set him up in Nick's recliner with the old laptop and some kiddie games to try and take his mind off of "it" looking "really scary"....

March 12th - Surgery Day

Nicky did REALLY well considering... now he's completely zonked!
The anesthesia they gave him is kickin his arse.
I missed the whole thing. By the time I got the other two on the bus and up to the hospital, he was done and they were wheelin him into recovery.
So we're home now, watching him sleep off the effects of the drugs
(and I keep checkin to see if he's still breathing.... lol!)
