February 7th - Wii Would Like to Play... Some More

yep, it's saturday again ~ nick's workin his TSP class (finally!! flippin yahoos, lol), so the kids get the tv (and the laptop to play with their Funkeys) today.
Nicky REALLY gets into the Wii Sports, lol! We have the tennis racket attachment (along with the baseball bat and golf club), but i can just see it going thru the tv, LOL! so they deal with just the controllers... and drool over Dad when he plays coz he's "allowed" to use the attachments, hehe.

February 6th - MoviePalooza

this is my ever-growing movie collection... book #4 is almost full, so it'll be time to buy another one pretty soon! last time i counted we have over 800 movies - and i pulled about 100 of those that i know we'll never watch again ~ a lot of which are movies the kids have grown out of.
i've seen almost every single one of them, too - some of them i've watched 2 or 3 times, lol.
usually Nick is out playing poker or watching a PPV at a friend's house on Saturday nights, so the kids get a movie night. this weekend's movie is madagascar 2 - escape 2 africa. it came out a week early! woot! lol!

February 5th - PopPalooza

yea, we're total pop freaks around here. ok. i take that back. i'm the pop freak. especially when it goes on sale. how can i pass up a 24pk on sale for $3.88??? i can't. there's no way, LOL! the pepsi was on sale last week for $2 each. couldn't pass that up either... diet pepsi is my "backup" for when i run out of diet coke, LOL! the other flavors are Nick's

February 1st - Dreadful Sunday &..

..the most heinous of chores ... laundry.
it's crunch time today ~ as it is every sunday, making sure the man has clean army uniforms, clean PTs and the kids have clean clothes for the week...
a tough chore considering the fact that the heating element on the dryer crapped out about a month and a half ago. it doesn't look as bad as it normally does today (thankfully!) b/c with the heating element out, i'm having to keep on top of it all week.
